Terms of Service

Organisers must create an account through Clerk with a valid email address and are responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential. Guests may join with a shared invitation link and a display name. Guests agree to follow these Terms while using the service.

Trip Timelines helps groups collect ideas, vote on them, and arrange a shared itinerary. Invitation links expire after seven days. After expiry, unauthenticated users cannot join or contribute through that link unless the Organiser renews or replaces it.

Polar.sh is our Merchant of Record for Pro purchases and AI credit packs. The price, taxes and applicable checkout terms are shown by Polar.sh before payment. Pro is a one-time purchase that grants the benefits described on our account page. AI credit packs are separate one-time purchases for Pro users.

You agree not to use Trip Timelines to:

• post or share unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive or harmful content;
• impersonate someone or provide a misleading display name;
• attempt to bypass invitation expiry or access a trip without authorisation; or
• interfere with the security or operation of the service.

You retain ownership of the trip content and ideas you submit. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and store that content only as needed to provide and operate the service for you and your invited guests.

You may delete your organiser account through Profile Avatar, Manage Account and the account deletion flow. Deleting an account removes the user profile and permanently deletes trips created by that account and their associated data. We may suspend or terminate accounts or links that breach these Terms.

The service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. Trip Timelines is an organisational tool and is not responsible for travel arrangements, bookings, cancellations or disputes between participants.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trip Timelines is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
